Chorna Rozha A young vibrant Ukrainian dance band comprising of members from Coventry and the Greater Manchester area. These lads are lively and get the feet stomping with a no nonsense live back to basics approach, and have many years ahead of them, and the raw talent to develop a sound that will fill the dance halls of Ukrainian clubs for many years to come.

CYM is the Ukrainian abbreviation for "The Ukrainian Youth Association", "Spilka Ukrayinskoyi Molodi" in Ukrainian. Like Plast, it is a global cultural & educational youth organization, encouraging and promoting awareness of one's Ukrainian identity through knowledge and understanding of Ukraine's history, culture, and traditions. As Ukraine is a Christian country, CYM promotes morality based on adherence to Christian principles. CYM "skhodyny" (get togethers) take place in most Ukrainian community centres at weekends or a designated week day evening. Ukrainian Dancing, singing and musical groups are also part of CYMs activities, and annual competitions are held in the form af a concert followed by an annual summer dance. Summer camps of a recreational and educational nature are run at Tarasivka, the CYM centre in Derbyshire, England, and at the respective CYM summer camp sites in Europe, Canada, America, Australia, Argentina, and Ukraine. There is also an annual summer "Olympics" in which its members from Britain, France, Belgium, and Germany participate as competing teams. Each country's community takes it in turn to host the event at their respective summer camp properties. This event is a great way to get to know young Ukrainians from other countries. The atmosphere is friendly and participants also indulge in an exhaustive schedule of evening social events!
